Dear Conor,
Thank you for this. The plugin does seem to work in 32-bit mode but iSight does not.
I will have to setup my development environment again (it has been a while) and recompile.
Kind regards,
Alex

Douban Plugin fails
Hi there, I've noticed since moving to a new computer that the Douban Plugin does not work with Bookpedia. Looking at the Console, I get: 07/02/2017 3:34:11.220 pm Bookpedia[48164]: Error loading /Users/me/Dropbox/Apps/Bookpedia/Plug-ins/DoubanBooks.plugin/Contents/MacOS/DoubanBooks: dlopen(/Users/m...

Sorting
While Bookpedia is quite clean and seems to be well thought through, there are a few quirks when it comes to internationalization support. In particular, I find that sorting is completely thrown off when Chinese titles or names are included. In Bookpedia, you need to add a "Sorted title" w...

Re: Forums blocked from China?
Hmm.. Ok, well, now it looks like posting is blocked. oh wells. Having the ability to browse without VPN is useful by itself. Thanks, whatever you decide.

Re: Forums blocked from China?
Just to let you know, as you can see from my last post, I can post from china without VPN. Though I like that, it doesn't sound like that was your intention.

Re: Pocketpedia: confirm delete, custom borrowing date, auto
I know the iCloud API is not as smooth as people want, but it is better supported in <ahem> China than DropBox (which is blocked for some bizarre reason). Of course, I found on another forum thread that Bookpedia has few China users, but I am one of them… and would hate to have to go onto VPN just t...

Re: Forums blocked from China?
Sounds like you need to enable some Captcha's for forum posts… or get onto an alternative forum software. Good thing I have VPN… though it is not always reliable. Thanks for confirming what I suspected.

Forums blocked from China?
Just out of curiosity, are your forums blocked from Chinese IP addressses? I can navigate the http://www.bruji.com pages without a problem but once I hit the forums, I need to VPN. Otherwise, I get: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /forum/ucp.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not ...

Re: Bookpedia > asian z39.50 servers
I tried using the Academia Sinica server as well as adding the Chinese University of Hong Kong servers, and both of them gave me garbled text. So, just setting the encodings for the servers doesn't work I guess? For the CUHK, the MARC data looked fine -- from the browser, of course. The Google Books...

Re: Bookpedia > asian z39.50 servers
Hi there, Just resurrecting this one again. I migrated from Delicious Library to Bookpedia today and am fairly happy with it so far… but my library of Chinese languages books are not importing all that much better than it did on Delicious Library. What needs to be done for the Chinese z39.50 servers...
