I have this too, but only on my iPod 5. I upgraded my iPad 4 first and everything was (and still is) fine. Then I did my iPod and it goes to a black screen after about 1 second. I'm not sure whether this is a feature request or just an opportunity to moan. I don't think there's a work around... I went through the appalling rigmarole of registering as an Amazon Associate. I DID NOT WANT TO DO THIS. It's not what I expect from 'user friendly' software and I have deep misgivin...
