Incremental ID

One thing that has always caused me extra work ( cause I forget to go turn off auto increment collection ID on new items ) is when I have an excluded collection and add a new movie to it. It will increment the collection ID. Be excellent if there was a preference to prevent the ID from being added t...

Re: Comic-BOOKpedia?

Hey everyone! I found another up and coming comic site that shows promise and has an api. http://www.comicvine.com Hopefully, they will work with you. It would be great exposure for their site considering your large client base. :)

Re: Pocketpedia Times out?

For any onlookers, Conor knocked this problem out of the park almost instantly. Once I gave him all the info he needed, he had no problem correcting the issue (which was me having a billion smart collections. :) ) and had Pocketpedia up and syncing on first try. Thank you Conor. And as I always say,...

Re: Pocketpedia Times out?

No console messages for DVDpedia. I will check Pocketpedia and upload my database file to my webserver so you can download it as it is 41 mb, little large to email.

Re: Pocketpedia Times out?

Unfortunately, it wasn't the problem. As I have checked that and the firewall on the router. Any other ideas?

Pocketpedia Times out?

I am trying to sync my Pocketpedia with DVDpedia. The first time it took a few tries to get it synced, as it kept timing out after 2 minutes. Now it continues to give me that error, even after restart of both computer and iphone. Any ideas?

Smart Collections & Any Link Type?

I was attempting to build a smart collection based off of Link Type and noticed I am unable to find that option? I see Any Link Name, but not Any Link Type? Am I missing it somehow? Thanks for the info.

 I don't think I would have the knowledge to pull that off. But it would be a valuable learning experience trying. :)

Re: If Links

Wow, thanks for that bit of Javascript. That should work if I was wanting to remove the code from the export template, but instead I am wanting to have different code tidbits for different links. For instance, in the two examples below you could have it export unique code based on the [link:type]. M...

Re: If Links

Did I scare you with this one or you just waiting to give it to me for Christmas? :) J/K  , did I explain it in a way that made sense? Do you think it would be a more flexible way to handle link exports? What are the hurdles involved in this idea? Off Topic: I am thinking of tackling learning C...

If Links

Would it be possible to set up [linksBegin] to be [linksBegin:Movie] or [linksBegin:Review] or [linksBegin:Wallpaper] whereas the "Movie", "Review", and "Wallpaper" would actually be the text you have in your Link Type field. This way if you have a movie wallpaper you w...
