I've found that as long as they've got different details (ie: release date, theatrical date, etc.) they won't show up as duplicates. The way I would do it is to have the album artist listed as "Various Composers" or some such thing and then in the track list, include the relevant composer for each track. It's not quite as effective for sorting, but it would get the job done without having to duplicate each entry.

What I wanted was, for a movie released Jan 25, 1961, to have just 1961 in the list view and then 25 Jan 1961 shown in the detailed view. I wondered if it was something that just wasn't possible.

I'm working on modifying the FancyIndex template to suit my own needs with DVDpedia and I can't figure out how to display just the release year in the overview and the full release date in the details or if it's even possible to do so.

Really like this template. Any way it can be customized for movies?
