If the two hard drives have no other way of seeing each other - via your iDisk, for example - then yes, you'll have to carry it around with you.

Two new search plug-ins - DVDpedia

Hello everyone, there are two new DVDpedia search plug-ins available for download from our Extras page - one for the Swedish site discshop.se and one for the Asian site yesasia.com. Oh, and the dvd.it plug-in has been updated since they've done an update on their page. You can just download DVDpedia...

You're in luck - we're working on Gamepedia right now :) Can't give you a release date yet since things are kind of hectic and crazy here right now but it should be out soon.
Thanks for the feedback!

Topic: How would dvdpedia cope with aprox. 200 000 records?

I think that would be pushing the app over the edge. Already at around 5000-8000 entries some features start getting slow, such as the internal search and the smart collections, so I think 200 000 would pretty much kill it. We're always working on improving speed but until we get to that level, it'l...

As far as I can tell, ezydvd.com.au doesn't allow search by UPC so there's not much we can do about that. I've looked at another site which a user had recommended for a plug-in (atlanticdvd.com.au) but they don't seem to have a UPC search either. If you know of any other good R4 sites that do, let m...

Funny that you mention it - a pet database was actually our initial idea for a software. Then we got sidetracked by DVDs, books, etc... :) But we might still go for it in the future. Send us an email with some more in-depth info about what you'd like to see included, fields you think would be import...

CDpedia 2.0

Hello everyone, here it is: CDpedia 2.0 . IMPORTANT: Beta users of CDpedia 2.0 will have to run the command "Refresh iTunes" from under the Help menu, as the program won't do it automatically since you have used the beta, and due to the new capitalization insensitive matching it will not a...

Hi Holger, you can add pretty much as many entries as you like. I know that there are several users with 3000+ entries and they seem to quite happy. Some of the program functions will probably get a little slower (switching from one collection to another, the cover image view) but other than that yo...

'Collection' simply means that you are currently viewing one of your collections as opposed to a webpage. (That field is also a URL field, meaning you can enter any URL and view web pages right inside Bookpedia.) Listmania refers to a service from Amazon where people can set up lists of their favori...

You have to sort the tracks correctly in iTunes first - sort by Album will do that for you - because CDpedia takes over the tracks in the order it gets them from iTunes.

We'll bring the date format and the additional data sources to CDpedia soon. Official widget release and CDpedia 1.2.0

Here's the official version of the AmazonPedia widget and the new release of CDpedia. The CDpedia release includes a lot of new features and fixes but it's not a 2.0 release yet because we haven't included the new Amazon webservices yet. (We'll get to that next. :))
