Smart collections assemble themselves out of the entries in the Library that match the particular criteria you have set for the collection so they can never be library-independent.

At the moment the statistics are static but we've got it on our radar already to include some preferences in the future to make the stats more user-definable.

Thanks for the idea. We can look into that in the future. In general most console game images should have the same size but Amazon does have some strange cover sizes from time to time... We'll see what we can do.

Unfortunately there is no way to mix library-included and library-excluded entries. If you want to keep a reading log to know when you started and ended a book, I'd recommend using one of the custom fields as a 'Started reading' field and then use the 'Last read' field for the date when you finished...

Hi Helmut,

check that you have read/write permissions for the autofill.xml file (the file that keeps the drop-down menu information). The file is located in your Bookpedia data folder.

Unfortunately the new built-in iSights don't work with the Pedias yet. Because the cameras are so small they lack the ability to change focus and that is something our iSight code relies on heavily. We're working on getting it up to speed but it's proving tricky. (If any developers out there are int...

Unfortunately the program can't tell the difference between a V as in 'V for Vendetta' and a V as in 'Star Trek V'. It just sees the letter V and sorts it accordingly. So you'll have to substitute the Roman numerals for Arabic ones...

Great, let me know if they change anything in their search and maybe we'll be able to update our plug-in accordingly.

After you finish the upload, the .Mac export window will give you the URL where you can access your new page. (By default this address is: http ://homepage.mac.com/[your .Mac account]/[title of the export]

Are you running OS X 10.3 or higher? (The plug-in doesn't work in Jaguar.)

As far as I know, discshop.se doesn't support search by EAN. If you enter an EAN into their site search, you won't get a result either even though they have the information on their website.

At the moment you can only have one wish list - the 'New special collection' menu is for when you delete your wish list or your borrowed collection and later decide that you want it back. We might include the option to create multiple wish lists in the future but for now you could just use a regular...

Thanks for the suggestion, we'll keep it in mind for the future. I don't know how much users would actually take advantage of a column like that but thanks for the idea in any case.
In the meantime you could use one of the custom fields.

There are several templates already in DVDpedia that will automatically create an index page for you, along with detail pages for each entry. A good example is the alex.html template, one of the winning templates of our Template Contest. Or otherwise there's the KuzDVDCovers.html or ChiaroScuro.html...

If you have some programming experience, you could write the plug-in yourself. If that sounds interesting, take a look at our plug-in site: http://www.bruji.com/plugins.html Otherwise, we can also write the plug-in for you but our list of plug-in requests is long already so I can't tell you when we'...
