The calendars can't be deleted unfortunately. But you can choose the date format setting in the Preferences/General. In your case, since you want to see just the year, enter %Y into the field. Wir werden sehen ob sich das in Zukunft einrichten lässt das wir die Original Titel Information von IMDb (falls erhältlich) in das Original Titel Feld einfüllen können. Eventuell können wir auch den Zugang zu den akas.imdb.com Seiten ermöglichen.

Thanks for letting us know about that bug with the import. It's fixed and you can download Bookpedia again. (still version 4.0 for now)

Version 4.0 is out

Hello everyone, we just released version 4, a free upgrade for all 3.x users. There have been some pretty big changes for this version, especially behind the scenes since the Pedias now run on Core Data. Thanks for bringing it up. This might become a feature in the future but as you mentioned there are quite a few workarounds already to get the same effect so it's not a high-priority feature.

At the moment it's not possible to use the barcode scanner without programming knowledge. In the future I plan to make a simple app version that puts the information on the pasteboard for users that just want to take advantage of the code in that way, without programming.

When you get advanced info via the Add/Edit window (i.e. using the little gear button) then you will be able to review the information sent before adding it.
