MobyGames search: Trunicated description
Hi again!
The first letter is getting cut off in descriptions pulled from the MobyGames database. MobyGames is undergoing a rather major overhaul so this may not be the last of this.

MobyGames search: No Title
Hi,
Just did a search for Micro Machines with MobyGames and noticed that all the results came up with the title field blank. The titles show up in the list of results, but not in the entry fields. Was a bit confused when I added the game and it didn't show up where I was expecting it to.

Replacing records
So, I have a lot of what I consider really piss poor entries which are based off of Amazon search for SEGA Saturn games.. somewhere around 50 or so... Anyway I'm replacing them all with new ones based on Moby Games Search because it tends to have more info on the game and tends to be more accurate. ...

Re: gamepedia using thumbnails when using mobygames search
Well, I just got done adding my Sega CD collection using the mobygames and for the most part it pretty much picked up on what was there... I added just over 50 games and only about 3 games where it did something weird and imported the cover as a big white space with the actual cover in the lower lef...

Re: gamepedia using thumbnails when using mobygames search
That's much better... But there's still one glitch.. The release dates aren't imported correctly. For instance, A searching for " Sonic CD " brings up Sonic CD for the Sega CD, and imports the release date from mobygames as Dec 1969, when the listing it's pulling gives a release date of No...

gamepedia using thumbnails when using mobygames search
Hi, The other day I was entering my Playstation games into gamepedia and I decided that mobygames seemed to have the most detailed info and cover scans for the system for the most part... The thing is, Gamepedia wasn't picking up on all the info that was listed on each of the games pages.... it didn...

Re: Game Databases that would be cool to have search plugins for
Yeah.... NintendoAge looks pretty promising.... from what I understand they're very busy with a lot of things, but they are working on lists for other Nintendo systems besides the NES. Out of curiosity, is there something lacking in AtariAge's rarity guides that would make it difficult to work with?...

Game Databases that would be cool to have search plugins for
Amazon works pretty well for new games, but I find it doesn't work so good for geting details on classic games.. and MobyGames is good, but there's still better. It'd be really cool of their were search plugins for using the classic video game databases on these sites: http://www.atariage.com http:/...
