I was having the same problem until I looked at my firewall logs. I noticed the incoming connection was coming from IP address 0.0.0.0 and wasn't connecting. I had my Wi-Fi off so I just turned it on and presto...there's the sync button. The firewall now shows a successful connection with a valid IP...
