Re: Pedias in the MacApp Store
Ok, my 2 cents on the App Store; Positive; App Store is a 'safe' place for Mac Newcomers to find software. Software on the App Store has been reviewed by Apple so should not be malware Positive; For small developers, Apple provides hosting and payment options. Although I'm not sure charging 30 perce...

Re: Pocketpedia2
I would happily PAY for an iPad version of DVDpedia if one was available, and I am sure many others would too, if that would help the development to be brought forward. I know from conversations here with Conor and Nora and Alex that they are working on this and nobody will be faster to sign up for...

Great to hear!
I hope this will 'pave the road' for a re-introduction of PocketPedia for iOS

Last read by .... option
My wife and I share the same Bookpedia database. Everytime I've finished a book, I mark it as 'read'. However, Bookpedia currently doesn't have the option to mark who read the book (so each of us can track which books they still need to read). I've tried entering a name in de 'comments' column for t...

Would you be able to give us a 'progress report' or a sneak previ...

Re: batch edit DVD covers?
I'm currently working on the opposite; upgrading poor images with better ones. Either by scanning covers myself of finding better ones on the internet. What I would like to see in the Pedias: An image-dimensions column inside the Pedias; allowing me to quickly locate images that need upgrading (e.g....

Re: iPad version!!
Which is exactly why we're planning on moving away from Amazon and towards our own database I think i missed that one (haven't been watching the forum for a while). Great news! If possible (I understand that, from a commercial view, this might be challenging), please try to co-operate with other or...

Re: iPad version!!
Recently I saw another application at http://www.collectorz.com/
They seem to have set up their own database. Might that be an option? Having all Pedia users provide their information to a central database, hosted by Bruji?

Re: iPad version!!
Let me double that; thanks for the long response, Alex. Some ideas on your answers; making it open source means that Bruji cannot get penalized on the desktop side of things because we didn't develop it and we have nothing to do with the App. That's what I meant. But strictly, not PocketPedia, but t...

Re: iPad version!!
Just thinking out loud again; Convert PocketPedia to an open-source project Disconnecting PocketPedia from Bruji makes it just a 'database' application. Combine it with a 'open' file-format (PocketPedia Exchange Format) to exchange data with the desktop, files that can be generated by any app (inclu...

Re: Bad News Day - Here We go again. Amazon
This is very bad news indeed. I was so happy to see PocketPedia back in the iPhone!
Just wondering; what would happen if you deliberately did NOT remove the application from the App Store? Would that be an opportunity to start 'conversations'?
