Just ran across this today. Cool utility to create nice cover art. It exports as icns. Can add an overlay of blu-ray, certain consoles, etc. Very cool.
Can or do the Pedias support icns so I can simply replace the originals?

collection totals and fullscreen CoverFlow in DVDPedia
I suppose this could apply to all the Pedias. I like in Pocketpedia that I get a small (#) next to each collection (smart collection, etc). I'd like DVDPedia to do the same. I know this isn't how iTunes does it, but I'd prefer it, at least as a user-selectable option. I'd also like CoverFlow to work...

HTML export template help
I am playing around with a nice, Flash-based coverflow clone. http://blog.liip.ch/archive/2008/08/14/local-ch-coverflow-goes-open-source.html I was hoping to use this as the basis for a nice HTML export template. What I am struggling with is that the page reads from an XML file. Unfortunately I don'...

Re: better export options
Thanks! That gives me some good options to try out. I'll play around with it.

better export options
I might be doing something wrong, or missing a step, but I'd like to see more powerful export features. For example, the actors field lists ALL actors, rather than individual actors associated with that field. I guess what I'm saying is I'd like a method to export the data so I can have some fun man...

Re: Front row integration
From the Unix commandline you could probably create a symbolic link to fool the plugin into thinking it's going to the default path.

Re: DL2 released, catches up to the Pedias finally
Well call me hasty, but DL2 has not caught up with anything. I agree and edited my title  I have had nothing but good support experiences with the Pedias. DL, on the other hand, has been a nightmare. No joke, it once took me two months to have them email my lost license code! I realize losing...

Re: Front row integration
I have a dilemma. AppleTV is nice, simple, gets the job done. It has rentals but can't play DVDs remotely (even through a hack). A Mac Mini has Front Row as well, but not the Take 2 version. It doesn't have rentals. But it can play local DVDs and now, apparently, can play anything linked through my ...

Re: Front row integration
I fixed my genre issues by only importing data from Amazon. IMDb seems to give a LOT of genre info...like way more than is necessary. Perhaps a more granular ability to choose what you get from certain sites would help. This plugin is fantastic! Simple and to the point and integrates perfectly. Thin...

What's this I hear about a FrontRow plugin? What's it do and can I test it out?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: DL2 released, catches up to the Pedias finally
One thing I REALLY love about the Pedias is that they are separated. I only care about DVDs, so I don't need or care about the other stuff and this gives me the choice. It's also offered as a bundle (in various options), again giving me the choice. And I have written my own HTML export, long before ...
