Re: CDPedia: New free database
Thank you for the link to a new source. I'll take at the possibility of modifying a copy of Freedb plug-in to work with VGMdb. I can't say that CDDB protocol is the easiest to implement as it's rather old and only allow searches based on the disc ID, so it's not great as it requires the CD in the d...

CDPedia: New free database
I'm one of those geeks that collect video game music and it's a pain in the behind to add these albums to CD Pedia because many times iTunes gives Japanese-only names or doesn't find it at all. Lord knows Amazon doesn't help. So I'm proposing that you implement VGMdb.net's free CDDB alternative for ...

Re: Quick-fetch for all marked?
Yeah, but this would overwrite all data I already have in the OTHER fields, right?
I just want to fetch the price and nothing else

Quick-fetch for all marked?
I'm using Gamepedia and recently I'm thinking of fetching the price of my games from Amazon. Is there any way to fetch and auto-fill for a game and, if so, is there a way to do this for multiple games at once? Would save me a LOT of time

Re: Conor, Nora - Will there ever be true Box Set support?
This is also relevant for Gamepedia where many games or collections might have 2 or more games in it. For example Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection has around 40 games and it would be really nice to be able to "open" that game to see what it actually contains. If the function would be si...

Re: Raptr sync
We haven't heard back from them yet, but releasing an API is no small feat. Once you get programs using it is solidifies and it's hard to make changes and improve it. So I imagine it will be going through a lengthy beta testing. I will write them another email and ask them how their API is coming a...

Re: Gamepedia: Achievements & DLC Features
Just popped by to agree with the original poster. A separate tab for achievements/trophies with checkboxes would be great and easy to handle. You could make so that the summary of what you've checked (like 15/35) shows on the main page if you want to. Many sites list achievements but I, like the pos...

Gamepedia: Downloadable Games Support
With the rise of services like Steam, XBLA, PSN and WiiWare, gamers with downloadable games are becoming many. Is it possible to add a site/library (like what amazon is today) for these games? I own over 40 Xbox Live Arcade titles and I'd love to be able to sort them and show them off too! Hope you ...

Re: Raptr sync
Thanks for the fast reply! Sadly you're right about raptr not yet having an import functionality. I've suggested this on the Feature Requests-forum but they're not as fast at answering as you guys. I will definitely let you know if I hear anything. Honestly though, I think it would be great if you c...

Raptr sync
I'd like to request a way to export your library (or a sync feature) to the gaming/social networking site raptr ( http://raptr.com ). It would be fantastic! I've suggested this on the raptr forums already and thought I'd run it past you too. Both the site and Gamepedia are similar in goals and would...

Thank you for the fast and informative response! as I said in my e-mail, a good site for video games is http://www.mobygames.com That's the only one I know at the moment but I will do some research and post a thread with potential databases. Thanks for telling me how to do a screensaver. too bad it ...
