Maybe you could add a tab along with 'Main/Extra/Credits/Links' tabs for the keyword tags? Not sure if this is possible, but could you 'word-wrap' tags to the width of the tags field to improve readability? The linked file worked like a charm -- now that is Class A support!

I haven't tried editing the templates yet (although I did create my own pc template for Movie Collector) as I am still learning my way through OS X.
