thanks @ual i found another, even shorter booklet, and was able to extract the syntax for the MP4 streams, it works, i already adapted it to the PHP file (but i'm on the iphone so i cant post it yet), so downloading will work also work.

@conor, thanks, i'll have a look at the basic plugin as soon as i'm home (we need an xcode for iphone ^^ ) i'll upload it to my server, and test it at home. if all works, i'll send it back to you, so anybody else can use it. maybe that, or a similiar feature could get incorporated in DVDpedia next version.

@ fabipigi : by the way,you like writing a lot with your iphone, don't you .
I try to avoid it , because writing with a mac is much much faster.
