Re: IMDB Cast Information not downloading
I'm wondering... is the new beta for OS 10.5 only? When I run it on my MacBook (10.5.7) it works fine; but when I use it on my old PowerBook (10.4.11), which is where I mainly use DVDpedia, the application does not respond to left-clicks in the Collections pane - meaning I can't change Collections. ...

Re: IMDB Cast Information not downloading
The beta fixes the problem but introduces a more serious one (for me, at least).

Re: Some major IMDB info missing (director etc.) when adding
I've also been getting some IMDb weirdness in the last few hours - missing cast names, crew names in the cast field, or character names downloaded instead of actor names. As an example, I tried adding the movie Themroc, and the "Starring" and "Credits" fields were filled in with ...

DVDpedia: Sorting by director surname
I wonder if it might be possible to enable a list of titles in DVDpedia to be sorted alphabetically by director surname?

Re: DVDpedia: Ignore foreign articles doesn't work with "Les"
Thank you. "Sort title" is a very useful feature that I hadn't previously noticed. I'm learning more about DVDpedia all the time!

DVDpedia: Ignore foreign articles doesn't work with "Les"
In DVDpedia 4.4.3, the option to ignore foreign articles during title sort recognises and correctly ignores the French definite articles Le , La and L' , but does not recognise Les . So "Les Visiteurs du soir" ends up incorrectly sorted among the Ls instead of the Vs. Also, in France the i...

DVDpedia: Separate Fields for Studio & Publisher
I notice that when I add a DVD using information from IMDb, the Studio field is filled in correctly (e.g., for Citizen Kane, it's Mercury Productions). When I add a DVD using Amazon, it's the DVD publisher's name that gets put into the Studio field (for Citizen Kane, the DVD is by Turner Home Entert...

IMDb changes and DVDPedia 3.4.2
I have to say that I'm very impressed by your speed of response to the major layout changes at IMDb today. I barely had time to notice that 3.4.1 wasn't working before 3.4.2 was up and running with the necessary fixes.
Many thanks.
