Re: Credit Listing Photo Display & Database

FineWine, looks like no one other than us will use a a detail view with cast headshot :)
It would be nice if Google would let us use their pictures database...

Ciao.

Re: Still working with Details template

As always Conor pushed me to find a solution...and it worked once again! :) The problem was with "<!--BeginRepeat-->" meta-tag (?), just moved BEFORE my anchor code ;) So, with some more "cloning" from the original "Collection" template, I think my job is finally DONE! ...

Re: Still working with Details template

Also fixed the footer, so it looks good, as it loses the highlight as it tries to make extra space for the expanded web view. So, it is normal that the footer changes its size? Can you explain me why the same code: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=[key:originalTitle]+traile...

Re: Still working with Details template

Enough for today,
applied some -webkit-gradient background and searching for a nice youtube icon to put on "the immediate left of the Film Title in the Title Bar" :D

Ciao.

Re: Still working with Details template

Will take a look at the Borrowed info...
Meanwhile this is what I did today:

Maybe this is clearer: Borrowed info and 2,5 stars rated

Re: Still working with Details template

Conor...you're the man :!: :!: :!:  I think I found a bug, don't know if it is "template" related, will try to explain. As you can see on the screenshot, I'm modifying the "Collection" template and adding the Cast section as FineWine showed me. The credit:name is a link tha...

Re: Still working with Details template

Thank you Conor, I will work on stars as I would prefer a "silver" star to use on my blue background... I found the filterlinks meta and removed it, used some Raw but the credit section is completely messed up: <!--IFcredits <div class="credits"> <ul> [creditsBegin] <li> <table> ...

Still working with Details template

Ciao Conor, I didn't notice before so I think it started with DVDpedia 5.1.5, on the modify window there are empty stars for the rating. Do you think we could use that empty stars for a Detail template? I still have issues with multi values (comma separated strings) on the director field and filter ...

Looks like I'm not the only one "fighting" against odd articles management.

Re: IMDB: Metascore

Not sure if you are aware but you can move custom fields from the extras tab to the main tab, in the preferences as well as arrange them in order you would prefer via drag and drop. E.i. put cinematographer right under director. Yes, I knew that, but it is good to remember it! ;) After adding them,...

Re: IMDB: Metascore

Conor,
I added two custom fields (Composer and Cinematographer) and they appear on the Extra tab of the Add/Modify window BUT when I downloaded info from IMDb they appeared on the cast tab too, is it working as designed?
As those are "standard" fields name would be ever translated? :)

Re: Highlight Media Type

Conor, this doesn't want to become a "serious" discussion but... :) It's so difficult to find good DVD/BR covers that I use movie posters and, so sad, many times I have to use English posters to have a good and crisp cover, that's why I was thinking a way to highlight media type. I was won...

Highlight Media Type

Ok, it's late and maybe I am a little bit tired, but I was thinking if it would ever be possible to highlight covers (in cover view) with a colored glow effect based on media type  You know, a blue glow around (or just under) the cover for blu-rays and silver for DVDs Time to go to sleep?! ...

Re: IMDB: Metascore

You can download crew data directly into specially named custom fields if you want to keep them apart from the general credit info list. Just change the title of the custom field to match the title on IMDb, i.e. "Cinematographer" or "Composer". I really missed this and I was thi...

Re: [ITA] Nuovo search plugin: DVDWeb

Giu...
