Re: Seeking template feedback

WOW! It is even Xhtml valid! I'd be happy to have that, and are you doing it for the other pedias ?

Re: pocketpedia2 First Sync not Finishing

Had the same thing. Closed pocketpedia, the concerned -pedia, turned off wifi, turned on wifi, opened the -pedia, opened pocketpedia, launched the sync with the concerned -Pedia in front of all other applications... and that did it (oh, yeah, I knew it was not a firewall issue, because the other -pe...

Using another webcam ?

While my friend's isight functions well, it is not well placed on her iMac, so she wants to use the usb webcam instead, but it does not seem to work (she cannot choose to disable the isight). Is there any way to do so (or a preference somewhere in the pedia about which camera to use ?)

Re: Make-your-own-pedia

Neither would I.... Whateverpedia? mychoicepedia? thingspedia? Also, on the topic of anotherpedia, will you release a boardgamepedia? I have no time to do anything about it, but I know for a fact that there is no board games listing software on OSX, and that would be great: many Toy libraries are li...

Re: Amazon Killing Mobile Apps That Use Its Data

I sent a message to amazon, the one I use, .co.uk, and received those: Fri, 31 Jul 2009 12:07:27 Dear Customer Thank you for contacting Customer Services at Amazon.co.uk by e-mail. I apologise for the delay in responding to your e-mail message. Please be assured that all of us here are working very ...

Re: Amazon Killing Mobile Apps That Use Its Data

Erm, someone could help me with my message? I am willing to write to amazon.co.uk (where I am a regular customer), but my English especially in that kind of situation is... well... less than optimal. Not only do I not know how to say things, I do not know how to express what I think about their deci...

Re: Amazon Killing Mobile Apps That Use Its Data

Will you offer a lighter version without the search? I would be interested, especially if there is series / number in series support for bookpedia (think "belgian comics", ...)

Re: 5393 ... and counting

For my 4800+ books, it also took a while and seemed to leave my iphone rather warm. I also had to delete a few of the "listes intelligentes" to keep only 3, because until I did that, the sync would freeze after a few seconds...

Re: Pocketpedia Improvements & Suggestions

I had the same problem, solved it: I simply made what is called in the French version "liste intelligente" with the platform as criteria. Since the lists are transferred to the iPhone... I simply have to look at the concerned list.

Re: Pocketpedia: Wrong Fields appearing after synch

I have to say, since the problem I had with Bookpedia and Pocketpedia has been solved, this is the only feature I am still waiting for: the series (I use the field tu put the name of it and the number not a separate field for those two datas). I use the thing you suggested, but I had to modify it sl...

Re: Separate fields for author first and last names in Bookpedia

Thing is, I do not know if it is because I have a mix of Japanese, English, American, French, and a few other nationalities, but, for example, A.A. Milnes is at the beginning instead of M, no matter if I put "A. A." or "A.A.", and some names do not get sorted at all. When it is f...

Yay, a boardgamepedia :) I am totally in favour of the idea (700+ games for our club, and no time / concentration / ... to program anything those days, being pregnant and tired)

Yeah ! Real great. I always thought I would do one, but had no time (and worse, now we are preparing to move to another flat, so I overused the pedias but had no time to work on anything )

Will you do so for the other pedia ?
