Re: Bad keycombo, no dog biscuit!
First off, your trick to change the keyboard shortcuts works great under Snow Leopard. Thank you very much. (I think ya got some fuel for a FAQ entry here :) We treat all our customers as if they were ourselves. We like getting news but not every other week, so the mailing list is for big announceme...

Format: Audiobook vs Audio CD
I've got a lot of 'books on cd'. So what 'format' in Bookpedia should I be using, 'audiobook' or 'audio cd'?
I'm leaning towards 'audio cd' as that (to me) represents the media or physical media used here. In that light, the term 'audiobook' doesn't hold up.
Thoughts?

Minium Data For Submission?
I've been looking, but so far haven't found any list of 'required' or 'recommended' data for submissions to the Doghouse. Ideally a submission will contain everything that can be possible added to a record. In reality, that's not going to happen. So what must/should we be submitting? I guess I'm loo...

So just out of curiosity...
... which of the Pedias is the most popular? From what I see on the forums it looks like DVDpedia is the most popular followed by either Bookpedia or CDPedia.

Re: Bad keycombo, no dog biscuit!
In short a complicated decision on which we are on the fence between the status quo and updating to match the focus of the program but break the brotherhood that is command-n in the File menu. Do let us know what you think but consider that those that are friends with command-f have no reason to vi...

Bad keycombo, no dog biscuit!
Just some general feedback. Every time I want to add a book in Bookpedia I reflexively hit 'cmd-n' as in all the other software I use that starts a new record or opens a new window or does what some 'new' related function that's the correct key combo. However, when I use Bookpedia I keep creating ne...

Re: artwork not being imported into cdpedia from itunes
I have my art and music all on the same hard drive. The artwork is where ever iTunes normally stored it, which I think is under Music/iTunes/Album Artwork/Local/<some_random_string>/ Does cdpedia's import function have anytype of debug or logging functionality to see exactly what's going on during a...

artwork not being imported into cdpedia from itunes
I have artwork on my itunes entries, but when I do an import from iTunes playlist, I'm not importing any artwork. Am I missing some configuration option somewhere?

Re: Trouble importing Amazon wishlist
I wanted to let you know that I'm still seeing this issue with v4.2.2. I have to think the problem relates somehow to the Amazon Web Services returning old, cached data. Maybe they updated how you have to access the Amazon Wishlist through the API?

dvdpedia eroneously cropping titles?
I just noticed this issue and if it's a feature or has already been noted as a bug, please point me at the docs/bug and I'll happily read up on it and go away ;) I just added a new DVD box set and DVDpedia found it easily enough through Amazon (US), but when it imported the search results to my libr...

genres vs tags
So I'm slowly inserting all my books, and I keep coming back to the same basic problem, how the hell do I classify these books? For the most part I'm using my tags to keep track of the 'subjects' and 'classifications' I apply to each book, but there's still that damn genre field and I can't make my ...

multi-volume book series
I'm adding a series of graphic novels to Bookpedia where there are MANY books in the series and there is a specific order to the books, but the books do not have any type of volume number in the titles (the Hellblazer books by Vertigo to be exact). I would like to record data somewhere to indicate w...
